Was Remus implying that he was going to continue... getting around even if they considered anything along the lines of a relationship? Even if Severus realised that he actually did love Remus...? Would that not be enough for the man? What would be enough for him then?
He didn't share well, Severus knew that. And he also knew he couldn't change that.
Maybe Remus shared too well? And was unable to change that?
