He leans in and inhales deeply, growling against Severus' cheek before kissing him hard, licking along his lips until Snape lets him in. He keeps his arms to his sides, remains leaning against the wall.

Remus can't keep from kissing Severus, but he can keep from just falling all over him. He wants Snape to lose it before he does.
