Remus looks down, sighing heavily with relief. He wishes he could have trusted without asking, but so many people have disappointed him in his life, he just can't risk it again.

He flexes his fingers against Severus and looks back up at him sadly.

"I still can hardly believe he's gone." Remus lays his forehead against Severus' knee and lets himself weep softly.
