Remus moves his hands to stroke Severus' cheeks gently as they kiss. It's beautiful, how his lover holds him, how they fit together, how Severus' lips move on his, soft and warm, like every good dream Remus has ever had.
"And I love you, Severus," he mutters into the kiss. "Make love to me," he whispers even more softly. "Slowly. Please."
Remus runs his hands from Severus' face to his shirt and starts to undo the buttons.
"I need you."
His voice is barely audible, but somehow Remus is sure Severus has heard him.
